Mara Organic Beef

Mara Organic Beef is certified organic beef produced on rich farmland at the edge of the Richmond Range at Mallanganee in northern New South Wales.

The fertile soils and quality pastures, high rainfall and the warm sub-tropical climate of the Northern Rivers are the ideal conditions for grazing premium beef cattle. 

We are passionate about sustainable and ethical farming practices and deliver clean, flavoursome, organic beef.

Our herds are high quality EU accredited organic beef finished on organic pastures, silage and organic grains. Mara Organic Beef runs over 900 breeders which is a supply base to produce animals suited to premium market specifications.

The Hereford and Hereford cross herd’s progeny are fattened to a 150 kgs–250 kgs Dressed Weight carcase.

We also have organic cows to suit export specifications.

All the pastures and grains produced are under a strictly monitored system of soil management used in conjunction with our composting and compost tea facilities.
